Music for the Soul

I've always wondered how some songs just flow right to your soul. How the artist/song writer knew just what you needed to hear and how to deliver it in such a way that it seems like the song was meant specially for you.

Sometimes i imagine if it was possible the was some fairy/angel like being out there that secretly spies on us, notes what we need and whispers it into the ears of the song writer.

One of such songs is that speaks to my soul is Van Hunt's "Mean Sleep " Video- Van Hunt's Mean Sleep.

Also several songs on India Arie's Album "Testimony, Vol 1 and 2", an example of one of the songs i love on her Vol 1 is India Arie's - I Choose and Better People.

I find that these songs speaking to us are not just coincidences in life, i believe its as simple as every few hundred people probably think the same things everyday, possibly even at the same moment in time. Makes me wonder if we are not all here for a bigger purpose or maybe that's my spiritual side showing through.
